~Mr. Luster Klean's~ Best Tips for your Carpet!

1)

The first step is the most important!

The first step is the most important for preventing a spill turning into a stain! Blotting up as much of the spill as possible & scrape up any solids as well. Begin at the outer edge of the spill, blotting it up towards the center. DO NOT rub! That will only spread the stain. Also do not apply spot remover until you've soaked up ALL the liquid, as much as possible.

2)

Stains be GONE!

* For fresh stains: Plain club soda is an instane spot remover & is fantastic!

* Older stains: Combine 2 tbls detergent, 3 tbls vinegar & 1 quart warm water. Work into the stain & blot as dry as possible.

* Serious stains: Tide is the best stain remover for stubborn spots. Make a sudsy soultion of Tide laundry detergent & warm water. Brush the suds into the stain vertically & horizontally with soft brush.  Blot up excess & repeat if needed. This trick works 9.75 times out of 10!

3)

Who tracked in the mud!?

Sprinkle salt on the damp mud spots, give about 15-20 minutes for the slat to soak up the mud, then simply vacuum up, up & away!

4)

Opposites attract!

Ever wanted to be a genuis? The next time red wine spills on the carpet, remove it with white wine!

5)

Ink marks don't need to be permanent!
